Widely known and respected, CG Academy of Hair Dressing has been training students in Hairdressing and Beauty in Colombo for over 9 years. The facility features modern hair and beauty equipment where the students receive theory and practical training. We offer job placement assistance upon graduation.

Students at the Hair Academy receive comprehensive training in hair cuts, hair styling, highlights and customer service. You’ll not only receive classroom instruction, but we provide real world training from successful Hairdresser who show you what it takes to be a sought-after hair stylist. Throughout the program we want you to become comfortable with dealing with customers, so we’ve designed our program to eventually give you real world exposure to clients within a safe classroom environment. You’ll be well on your way to success once you’ve completed your course work at The Hair Academy.

Full time students complete their training within a year of enrolment. Graduating students often achieve a high pass rate when taking the exam. All students must meet both the academic and attendance progress requirements of at least one Evaluation Period by the midpoint of the program to be making satisfactory progress. All students who meet the minimum requirements for academic progress and attendance shall be considered to be making satisfactory progress until the next Evaluation Period.
The Academy is devoted to the training of competent Hairstylists and Beautician. The goal of our training programs is not only to pass the examination set out by the Academy, but also to participate in intensive training and study so that upon graduation, the student can enter successfully into his/her chosen profession. The academy pledges its dedication to the attainment of this goal for each and every student.

These courses include lecture, demonstrations, and more importantly, hands on training workshops. These classes are meant to instruct the students on all aspects of the salon industry, and to give them the skills and tools needed to become a stylist.

At our academy, students will learn the latest in cutting, colouring, texture, and design while using only name brand products in preparation for the real world.
